Château de l'Aumerade

Fabre en Provence Rosé Blend 2019

Strawberry, raspberry, faintly spicy and mineral-laden aromas. Mouthwateringly juicy on palate, wet stone and garrigue hints continue through finish. #provence #rose — 2 years ago

Domaine de Paris

Vieilles Vignes Côtes de Provence Rosé Blend 2017

I’m not sure I’ve drank a #provence #rose I didn’t like and this one continues the streak. However, it’s merely good, not great - pale pink gold color. Shy watermelon, sharp acidity and quite dry. — 5 years ago

Château Pigoudet

Le Grand Pigoudet Blanc d'Aix-en-Provence White Blend

Vintage 2016 - Provençal sunshine in combination with a Dutch ‘haring’ salade. Good partners! More minerals than fruit in smell. Hint of citrus and passionfruit in taste. #provence — 6 years ago

Fleur du Mistral

Rosé 2018

My previous notes are the same - this #provence #rose really shines as it warms up a bit. I’m glad I have two more bottles of it in my collection. #wsjwineclub — 4 years ago

Château Simone

Palette Red Rhone Blend 2001

Vintage 2001 - this is an elegant and refined Grand Old Lady! Its strikes me with its power. It flirts with red fruit impressions (strawberries). It smells like an autumnwood after rain. Its silky. Probably the wine was not intended to keep for 16 years, but with its tertiary tones its still vital. #provence #palette Mix of several grapes with mourverdre, cinsault, grenache. I drank it with a terrine of gamepaté, a baby chicken from the oven (poussin), stewed green cabbage and mashed potatoes. #simplepleasures — 6 years ago
