Epitome of champagne and Chardonnay. White florals. Mineral and slate. Concentrated fruit wrapped in piercing acidity. — 4 years ago

Tornatore

Etna Rosso Nerello Mascalese 2016

Lightness, not to be confused with either elegance or vapidity, but rather a state of mind. With Sicilian cuisine, one prefers to have the food lead and the wine follow (albeit closely).
Brilliant crunchy red fruit, mineral-palooza, spice, and some pencil lead gripping the tongue but not too sharply. Pass the Arancini per favore!

The Bedrock Heritage Sonoma Valley Red Blend 2017

MICHAEL COOPER DipWSET
9.0

Ripe red and black fruits sweet ripe tannins. It’s a very delicious wine. It seems a little simple though, not much complexity with no tertiary aromas or flavors and the alcohol feeling for me is on the high side. Very good. #redblend #redfruitblackfruit #californiazinfandel #sonomawine — 4 years ago

Pauillac Red Bordeaux Blend 2012

Deep ruby hue with fuchsia rim variation. Dark cherry preserves, creme de cassis, fig jam, blackberry, leather, cedar, smoked red meat, wet earth, black truffle, crushed rose, bay leaves, and sage. Deliciously balanced. Lovely structure and complexity and a long, elegant finish. Vintage 2012. ABV 13.5%. #chateaudarmailhac #baronnephilippinederothschild #grandcruclassé #pauillac — 4 years ago

@David T - What an incredible story and beautiful memory. Thank you for sharing it. 🙏. I have no doubt your friend Jean’s work and contributions will continue to touch Clerc Milon well beyond his move to Mouton Rothschild. Glad to hear he will be next door in any case. ☺️
