A decidedly lower key night, after some extensive tasting yesterday.
Nose has neutral oak, slightly oxidized yellow apple and flint dust on lemon.
Palate has ripe yellow apples, fading acidity, light creamy oak, light green herbs and lemon pith.
Likely on the back side of enjoyment for this one, or bottle variation is working at me again here, we've seen that up/down on this case over the years. Reasonable for today though. — 16 hours ago

Just a tat too warm when served. A beauty nonetheless with crisp & cream notes. White flowers. On the sweet side with the right amount of acidity. Good length — 7 days ago
Just had this as our wine pairing for our meal at L'Ecluse restaurant in Amboise. Our last dinner in France before heading home from our two week family vacation. This wine was outstanding as was the rest of the offering at L'Ecluse. The nose on this wine is interesting and I would even go as far as saying compelling. The orange blossom was ever present but so was a complement of spices. River stone minerality. Pure and great. — a month ago
2016 all day from the Rhône Valley. A madman made this wine, actually. Dark fruits, great spice and smoke from the 15% Syrah. 65% Grenache, 20% Mourvèdre. A.k.a. the best combo on the planet. — 10 days ago
