Vintage 2015 | Developing Rembrandt gold in the glass in colour, awesome peach and honey in smell. Butterscotch taste that embraces you completely. Such a fine Riesling. — 3 years ago
On the nose, breeding stands out on notes of sweet tobacco, cedar. The mouth is fresh, supple, simple but charming. The aging is fine, and the sour red fruit is fresh and crunchy. Beautiful gourmet and affordable cuvée that does not lack finesse. To be tasted in two years.
— 4 years ago

Starts beautifully with a petrol and honeysuckle nose, honeydew melon, lemonade, lime, kiwi fruit, and moderate acid. The finish fades a light too quickly to rate as a great Riesling. — 6 years ago

Delightful. Harmonious. Truly ‘feinherb’.
Candied citrus notes, honeysuckle, grilled pineapple, wet rocks. Sweetish Spatlese-like entry, finish mimicking a rich Trocken. This juice improved significantly over the years!
Great length, good purity, drinking at peak. — 4 years ago
In its third century of crafting wines from Napa, Beringer is guided by the partnership of Winemaster Emeritus Ed Sbragia and Winemaker Laurie Hook.
Founded by Jacob Beringer, Vineyard was established in 1876. Dark Ruby with rich aromas ripe dark fruits with sweet spice and cedar notes. On the palate blackberry and cherry with licorice and cacao, well integrated and balanced acidity. Soft tannins, great mouthfeel, long finish, aged well. Nice!! — 6 years ago

Weekly Wine Committee. 1 sparkler, 3-4 whites, 3-4 reds and 1 dessert wine format. Served blind.
I called this Alsatian Pinot Gris as there was a fair amount of fleshy, yet round, fruit skin. Cantaloupe and melon, mainly. But about 30mins later, the sweetness jumped out of the glass and it became a nice example of German Riesling. Just needs time. — 7 years ago
