Slight oak, blueberry and fig. Perfect pairing with my veal chop! — a month ago
First Washington I loved and it’s a budget friendly option — a month ago
Decanted for 3 hours before dinnner and paired with wagyu filet
Generally good robust fruit flavors but overall this wine seemed muted and did not pop with anything special. Somewhat surprised - maybe an off bottle. Still good and enjoyable with meal but shy of expectations — a month ago
Needs good decanting or aeration to open up to red fruit, high alcohol, strong tannings, high acid, and a soft cherry finish. The wine has the right components but feels a little immature despite its good age, all over the palate in a way. — 3 hours ago
Lovely for it's age. A bit dusty on the nose, with a bright orange-red color. Smooth, lightly tannic. 39% Merlot, 34% Syrah, 26% Cab Sauv, 1% Petit Verdot. — a month ago
1/2025. A nice Washington Cab. Good flavor and nice on the palate. — 4 days ago
Nice dark color, full body, character consistent with story, with smoky notes. Definite repurchase at under $20. — 23 days ago
Very good and gets better with a few minutes open. — 2 months ago

Medium garnet , ruby , with some lightening on the rim . Dark, slightly meaty nose , a bit alcoholic perhaps , grafite , iron filing earthy overtones slightly high toned . On the palate this has quite bright cassis , roasted red pepper , meaty , slight earthy , iron filing hint . Quite rich and rounded with some balanced acidity and slightly gritty tannin , a little heavy but not as much as I had feared from 15.2% alcohol . Quiet a lot of ripe dark fruits on the palate , blackberry , cassis , dark cherry. Quite a mouthful, though not subtle and not long on the palate either . Drink now and over the next 5 or so years , I don’t see this improving much. — a day ago
