Delicious yummy red — 2 months ago

Fruity beginning that opens up to a peppery finish. Very smooth. A bit over priced at $109. Didn’t see the complexity at that price point. — 4 months ago
Our New Year’s Eve wine is 2005 Kapcsandy Family Winery Estate Cuvée State Lane Vineyard. Still too early to open this? After four hours, the wine finally showed us who she was. Elegant, yet still restrained. We also opened 1996 Duckhorn Vineyards Napa Valley Merlot. Still drinkable. You can still enjoy the history. Bye bye 2025.
大晦日最後のワインは、2005 Kapcsandy Family Winery Estate Cuvée State Lane Vineyard。 Bye Bye 2025! — 6 months ago
Initially a strange aspect to the nose which hopefully will blow off. An oxidised note which is not apparent on the palate. Last time I tasted this wine 5 years ago I raved and gave it a 98 point score. This time that slightly irritating note on the nose but that same gorgeous palate. 97% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Merlot. I imported several vintages of Quilceda Creek from an outlet in San Francisco (Vinfolio) many years ago and this was my last bottle. Have never seen it offered in Australia but back in the day I was mightily impressed. 100 💯 points from Robert Parker. — a month ago
Very approachable young bourdeaux blend. Again very fruit forward. — a month ago

Very elegant Cabernet from Washington. — 2 months ago
Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with medium intensity primary and secondary aromas of blackberries, cassis, and graphite; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, high tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of black cherries, blueberries, black cardamom and bell pepper with a long finish. This wine is complex and intense. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. — 4 months ago
It is time for my #FridayCabernetfix.
Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.
Strong nose of black fruits with light cedar, vanilla, licorice, chocolates, cola, herbs and spices.
Medium plus in body with medium acidity.
Dry on the palate with blackberries, black currants, black plums, cedar, tobacco leaf, light earth, coffee, herbs, dark chocolates, black tea, peppercorn and cola.
Long finish with no tannins and tangy cherries.
This is a delicious 10-year-old Cabernet Sauvignon from Walla Walla Valley. Rich and fruit forward. Complex and nicely balanced.
Good right out of the bottle and didn't evolve much with air, even after after 2 hours.
Wine Enthusiasts 90 points.
I had this vintage 7 years ago, and it is so much better now. Probably a little past its peak, but delicious nonetheless. A little flat at this point, but very tasty. I love these Cabernet based Bordeaux blends.
Easy drinking and a great sipping wine.
A blend of 78% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 7% Cabernet Franc, 4% Malbec and 1% Petit Verdot. Aged in (28% new) French Oak barrels.
14.5% alcohol by volume.
92 points.

My late dad’s favorite and the vintage he was drinking just before he passed. Perfection. — 9 days ago

Strong red blend and gentle tannins for not a lot of age, and for WA state for that matter. Was busy discussing business while drinking this so copying web tasting notes: “blackberry, marionberry, cassis, dried herbs, olive tapenade, cedar, vanilla, and coffee.” — 2 months ago
This is a polished, crowd-pleasing Cabernet that still shows real intent. Ripe black cherry and blackberry lead the charge, followed by notes of cocoa, vanilla, and a subtle cedar spice. The tannins are smooth and well-integrated, giving it an easy, confident structure without sacrificing depth. There’s just enough oak warmth to feel luxurious, but it never overwhelms the fruit.
I opened this during a family winter getaway in Atlantic City, one of those cold, quiet nights after the lights fade and the boardwalk winds down. It paired beautifully with a relaxed dinner and conversation, the kind of wine that elevates the moment without demanding attention. Approachable, reliable, and quietly refined. Indian Wells continues to earn its reputation as a go-to Cabernet with class. — 4 months ago
This is a nicely tasty red wine with steak. Smooth drinking. — 5 months ago

100% Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Dark ruby/black color. Aromas of ripe black fruit, lavender, graphite and lots of smoky oak. Flavors of black berry/plum/currant fruit, coffee, dark chocolate, minerals and a bit of menthol. Long and oak driven finish with chewy tannins and well balanced acidity. Bold and full bodied. Thanks for the taste, Chris B! — 11 days ago
