Dark fruit with spice and caramel. Took some time to open up and then acid smoothed out leaving a medium jammy finish. Looks heavy in the glass, but nicely balanced nose and lighter palate than expected. — 5 years ago

Polished domestic Merlot. Very savory on the nose. Almost classic Bordeaux in style , green olive and olive tapenade. Oregano and thyme with just a hint of oak hut not overly in your face. Beautiful inky hue. Lots of great tannin and acidity on the backbone of this wine. Plenty of room to keep aging. Blackberries and blueberries upfront. Fantastic finish that lingers without feeling big heat. Very well balanced at 14.5% — a year ago

First 2018 Bandol Rosé..this wine has that orange color..great salinity..flavors of cantaloupe, honeydew, peach, strawberries, watermelon and minerals. Nice long finish..very nice first time trying this Rosé!
