This is one hell of a wine. I would put it against top Bordeaux any day. Probabally should've let this age another 5-10 years but it was so incredibly good out of the gate. What a way to spend Christmas Eve with family. red fruits, tar and ocean air on the nose. Broad shouldered but very pretty at the same time. This is one of the best wines in Italy these days

Barrel toast and cherries on the nose. On the palette, the grainy tannins inform you that more time is required, but the core components shine through. Beautiful, expansive mid palette, showing rich, dark fruits. My favorite wine (for the price) from this producer.

A Lot of young , Bordeaux like fruit with a bit more open , sweet cherry, Blackcurrant notes. Vanilla , spicy oak & clove. Intense palate with good acidity and focused fruit. Long straigth finish.

Opened and decanted an hour before tasting. Cedar, toasty oak, brown spices, damp earth, pinches of milk chocolate, coffee and pruney fruit. Still fairly tannic too. Does this wine have sufficient fruit and freshness for the long haul…? Now, its good, not great.
