Golden Slope Sta. Rita Hills Chardonnay 2019

9.6

Medium yellowish/gold color. Beeswax, tangerine, peach, nuts, and camomile on the nose. Rich wine with ample complexity. Acidity is well integrated. Just coats the palate. Refreshing yet deep and bold. High quality! — 4 days ago

Giusto di Notri Toscana Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 2017

Dark fruit, mocha. Drinking very well now but no hurry to consume these. Big wine with lots of tannins that mellow out in the glass after 30 mins. Upwards potential with some additional age. This is the 25 years anniversary bottling. — 3 months ago

Bloom's Field Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir

12.5% with lots of sediment. The glass was partially clouded with sediment. That doesn’t happen often with Pinot. A beauty. — 4 months ago

Sea Smoke

Southing Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir

Solid non-California-tasting California Pinot Noir. Fruit and earth. Had a nice pop of fruit in the glass but lingers with some earthy aftertaste. — 12 days ago

Rancho Santa Rosa Pinot Noir 2021

One of the best California Pinots I’ve had. Red fruit, tobacco, and pepper, oaky and savory with spot-on body and balance. Excellent value at Costco — a month ago

La Rinconada Vineyard Pinot Noir 2020

We had the 2020 Vintage on 4/10-12/26. A real good Santa Barbara Pinot noir. Tastes of red cherry, strawberry, baking spice and an earthy taste. Purchased at the winery. Would buy more — 2 months ago

Dragonette Cellars

Radian Vineyard Pinot Noir 2013

Quite fruit driven, spicy, strawberry, red fruit, savory and juicy - but just not my thing - still an excellent wine. — 3 months ago

Domaine de la Côte

Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2021

Deep Ruby color with aromas of black fruits, cedar, citrus, herbs and floral spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, cranberry and blackberry with floral and sweet herb spice notes. Full-bodied, fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, slight oak, herbs and a savory earthy mineral character. Nice, will age but Decant now! — 2 months ago
