A stunning wine. Nose has sweet wood, hay, lemon, lime flesh, so pure. Stunning clarity. But the palate is there the show starts and stops. Stunning purity, detail and precision. Sweet fruit and sweet wood and an orb effect. Amazing balance and sap. Floats. Superb concentration and length. One of the best Weissburgunders I have ever had. Wow. Too bad he only made it one year! — a year ago

Beautiful dry RS with aroma and acidity — 8 months ago
We tasted a lot of wine at Merry Edwards. The new winemaker, Heidi von der Mehden, even popped in to say hello during the tasting. I will wait to review the rest of what I ordered as I open them, but this was my wine of the tasting for me. I have enjoyed every vintage of Olivet Lane that I have tried thus far, and this was no exception. This wine was full bodied, ripe fruit, and push mouthfeel. I tend to like Olivet Lane after its had a few years of age — really all of her wines are better with a little age IMO. — 2 years ago

Such a great wine. For under $25 as good as it gets. Stunning nose of perfectly ripe cherries, dark and late season but also some mid season. So Burgundian in that it deep and expensive with some feral and meaty aromas. Lovely herbs and dusty complexity. Really evocative aromas. Palate is ultra juicy and bright with wonderful texture, freshness and brilliant velvety tannins and the fruit is mostly sour cherry. So good. Really wonderful and jumpy wine. — 2 months ago
