Stunner of a Savagnin, nose evokes a lovely mix of toasted nuts, caramel, apple sauce, camomile, white & yellow flowers as well as an almond croissant richness.
Rich mouth feel with vibrant acidity and that walnut skin tannin after taste.
Young, vital with some rough edges that should smooth out with a bit of time in bottle.

2005 vintage. Solid colour. Amazingly vital, with still good fruit. Not especially complex, but a very nice wine. — a year ago
Raul Perez is a bit of a wine rock star, so I admittedly came to this 17$ entry level new project of his (with the Prieto varietal) with baited breath…& it did not disappoint. It drinks like…surprise.. a baby Morgon, with clean red cherries set in a fairly mineral frame. Quite lush on the nose. Not for acid hounds per se but still so vital & fresh. — a year ago
It would be more useful if Delectable labelled these with what the numbers actually mean: No. 3 is the Clare Valley riesling. And what a joy it is, full of juicy lemon, vital and bright, but with the bristling acid softened from what it was at release. Lemon barley cordial without the sweetness. Still very much on the youthful side with only a hint on the nose of secondary development to come. Incredibly moreish. — 2 years ago
