Located halfway up the hill dominating the principal valley of Barolo, supported by steep slopes lined by orderly vineyards, lies the 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits and pepper spice. On the palate flavors of cherry and strawberry, lively spice, well balanced with savory fine tannins on a medium+ finish ending with mineral character. — 2 years ago
Fantastic blend red wine. One of the best top chilean wines. It can be alive for decades.
A strong but smoothly wine. — 3 years ago
Green apple crumble in a carpentry shop. The Granny Smith apple tartness is the principal note in my mind, but there's more to this one. A soft layer of sawdust in the corner? This is not an oak bomb by any means, but that powdery softness tames the acid of the apple flavors. This is one I've wanted to try for some time. A deep wine to be sure. Legend. — 5 years ago

Still cruising around in this rough, rugged country of Valle Guadalupe to find those diamonds. Swerving around pot holes, crossing submerged roads, climbing pitted dirt roads, we found one in Bodegas Magoni. An Italian born winemaker and a true pioneer here in the valley. Focused on making old world Spanish, Italian or Bordeaux style wines. Selecting and developing his own clones of the principal wine varieties of these regions to help them adapt and thrive in this valley’s climate. This Rioja style, Tempranillo driven blend is a great example. Dense, intense and super balanced. Rich cigar box, leather a dry dark cherry on the palette. Fine grained tannins creating a lingering finish. Optimum acidity to cleanse your palette for the next sip! — 2 years ago
— 5 years ago

Fantastic nose, even though the #cabfranc isn’t the principal grape #bordeauxblend it comes through pure and clear. On the palate it seemed too sweet and overripe. #mexicanwine #mexico — a year ago
