Very nice. Slightly better than the 2012. Well balanced, nice amount of fruit, and pretty smooth.

This our go to red blend as it is smooth, not too sweet, not too dry for us. First drank it in San Francisco @ D&K's. 2013 was a good year for this blend.

What a blend!!!! The Markham Vineyards Cellar 1879 Blend 2013 -another NAPA VALLEY beauty. This has a dark dark color and long thick slow legs. There is fig pudding on the nose. The initial palate is phenomenal with blackberries, chocolate, and dark currants. Yet no sour anything- no tartness. It finishes dry with a tobacco and lightly buttery ending. I could drink this all night. Very dangerous.

At first I wasn't a fan - acidic, sour aftertaste... but like chlamydia, this wine gets better with time. It needs to #breathe
