Ochetti Langhe Nebbiolo

Located halfway up the hill dominating the principal valley of Barolo, supported by steep slopes lined by orderly vineyards, lies the 15th century Abbey of Annunziata. Medium Ruby with aromas of ripe berry fruits with earthy herb notes, aged for 12 months on oak. On the palate flavors of cherry, strawberry and raspberry with sweet vanilla spice. Fine tannins, vivid acidity, medium+ finish ending with earthy fruit character. Good value, Barolo like without $$!

Subtle nose. Surprisingly juicy but firm tannin. $16 B

Light ruby color with transparency. Fresh fruits. High acid.

Really good lighter body red wine. Dark fruits, very smooth. Had with a pan bagnat- delicious

Very good wine. Beautiful fruit flavor front of pallate with nice acidic balance. Robust, complex but very drinkable now

This Nebbiolo is one that will captivate you from start to finish! Fragrant whiffs of strawberries, raspberries and vanilla right from the get go. Crisp tannins, medium bodied and a sultry finish! I’m ready for my next bottle and luckily I bought 2! Love those Italians…..

Tannino ammorbidito per nulla spigoloso

Surprisingly accessible, but better on day 2. Quite typical (in a good way). Enjoyed. Good value.
