Ruby with a rich bouquet of fruit, spices and floral notes, fruit from several vineyards, vinified and aged separately. On the palate flavors of cherry and raspberry with notes of pepper, cinnamon and floral. Long finish, nice balance with fine soft tannins ending with earthy notes. Mid crimson. The reasonably pale colour belies the power on the palate of this Barolo (La Morra). An earthy tarry note - a touch of mint.
