Beautiful fruit and tannins — 3 months ago
Pleasant chillable red blend of Nero d’ Avola (65%), Grenache (25%) and Zibibbo (10%). Aromas of bright red berries, red flowers and woody herbs. The palate features red and blue berry fruit, black pepper, cinnamon and graphite. A slight hint of vanilla on the very earthy finish. Bright acidity and super fine tannins. As the name implies, very fresh tasting. Quite “Beaujolais-like.” A nice choice on a hot summer day. Interesting A.F! — 2 years ago

Medium ruby in color; reductive when first opened, so I decided to let it breathe for about 30 minutes; chili peppers, black cherries, and plums on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like pomegranates, red currants, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Nellie didn't like it. I think it's ok. — 9 months ago
Tasted blind. Ruby reddish color, young-looking compared to other reds so far. Opaque. Notes of black fruit, mocha, some earth and a little bit of wood. Rich in the mouth. Given our earlier Rioja bottle, we go back to Spain with guesses. I guessed 90 Unico. This is the Valbueno blend, with grapes from 85/91/96. 94+ — 3 years ago
