Pure power. Extra long finish. One of the best Unicos I’ve tasted. — 8 days ago
Medium ruby in color; reductive when first opened, so I decided to let it breathe for about 30 minutes; chili peppers, black cherries, and plums on the nose; high acidity; medium tannins; tastes like pomegranates, red currants, and crushed gravel with a long finish. Nellie didn't like it. I think it's ok. — 7 months ago
Show stopper. 59 years old and still providing an amazing experience. Never faded during our tasting. Elegant nose and complex mouth with a long, lingering finish. — 8 days ago
Lots of hot weather lately. Nice to have lots of this beauty. — 3 months ago
Pleasant chillable red blend of Nero d’ Avola (65%), Grenache (25%) and Zibibbo (10%). Aromas of bright red berries, red flowers and woody herbs. The palate features red and blue berry fruit, black pepper, cinnamon and graphite. A slight hint of vanilla on the very earthy finish. Bright acidity and super fine tannins. As the name implies, very fresh tasting. Quite “Beaujolais-like.” A nice choice on a hot summer day. Interesting A.F! — a year ago
This was perfect right from the bottle to a 20 minute decant. I felt like an angel baby swatted in cotton candy after drinking this one. Paired with meats and dishes at Bazaar in Washington DC. — 2 days ago
