Clear, pale ruby in color; on the nose, it’s clean with pronounced primary aromas of black cherries, dried strawberries, and tobacco; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, and pronounced primary flavors of red fruit roll-ups, blueberries, hibiscus, and tar with a long finish. @Delectable Wine. The 2024 Unico Zelo Pastafarian is actually a 100% Claire Valley Sangiovese. Bright garnet color. Aromas of sour red berries, dusty earth, leather, espresso and a bit of funk that blows off quickly. Flavors of cranberries, red plums, dark roasted coffee, anise and red licorice. Medium-plus length, bright acidity and fine grained tannins. There is a bit of a carbonic maceration/natty vibe with this wine. Fresh tasting and lifted. Low (11%) ABV.
