Village tavern. Very good. — 4 months ago
Good Barolo but nothing special. Reasonably priced and a good value at $35. Tastes like Barolo should taste. — 2 months ago

Had the 2023 in January of 2025. First sip out of the glass was strange. Kind of sour fruit, butter and wood. Gave it time to breathe and swirled in the glass and then it was really good. Light fruits- dark cherry and blackberry. Hints of wood and leather in the finish. I always tend to jump right in. Have a decanter but don’t always head to it based on other people’s comments, I probably should have! But time in the glass was kind. Was a very interesting wine that I would love to have again. — a year ago
2021 vintage. Last tasted 1.9.25 (9.3). Did indeed pick up extra for the resto and down to 1-2 bottles left. PNP. Still beyond solid for the price. It you find this vintage retail and it is $50 or below, you'd better pick it up or I'll call the federales/gendarmes/polizia/po po myself. — a month ago
Aromatic, spicy, aetheric
Dried cherries, a hint of wilted flowers, but fresh , juicy, a touch spicy
Beautifully poised on the palate, elegant, must be peaking right now.
Juicy, mellowed tannins, brilliant acidity. Lovely purity and great depth.
Drinking beautifully right now. — 3 months ago
First 2024 wine!! This is really excellent - haven’t had this grape (albana) before. Orange but in the way that I like - no overly “natural” funk and instead just excellent stony fruit and some great grip. Very juicy and almost savory with a long finish. Great value at $22. — 9 months ago

This 2022 is definitely more evolved than its 2023 stablemate, a tad less fresh than bottles drank last year (2025), medium-long finish, still quite good, I’m thinking this is ideally drank no more than 4 years from vintage. — 7 days ago
