Vigne del Sorbo Tintilia del Molise 2014

Excellent for 10 euros! The fruit is dark, ripe and warm but it’s well balanced by savory ashy and earthy notes. Good length and complexity. The 15% alcohol made its presence known. No call for a digestive...
@Delectable Wine this is a red, not Sauvignon

Lame del Sorbo Tintilia del Molise 2011

Molise is underrated. The Baden of Italy. Exceptional wine with bright fresh fruits. Balanced and food ready — 4 months ago

Licorice, spice, nuts, there is red berry fruit, dark fruits, nut powder, chestnut cask, blood, game, smoky, feral. Super juicy, super refined, big, late breaking tannins, unctuous texture, opulent and almost creamy but stunning finish. — a year ago

Emilio Ramirez Envinate

Benje Tenerife Tinto 2017

Listan Prieto, aka Mission aka Criolla chica aka Pais. The Benje Tinto from Envinante sourced from the DO Ycoden Daute Isora on Tenerife. Opens up very reductive, so be patient with it. Tart red fruit, very savoury and salty, like licking a stone, peppery. Like a northern Rhône but in the lack of flesh. Now call me conservative, but this above my threshold. However, very playful and fun, complex as well with a decent lenght and playful. — 2 months ago

Beat Tintilia 2016

Yup, that’s a ‘16 wine throwing off serious sediment. From Molise, & the Tintilla varietal. Black fruited, Funky, Delicious, very dry, give it some air (& decant, duh). Steep Hill importer- give’em some skin. 12.5%. — 5 months ago
