Color of deep purple with lighter shades on the rim. Nice tears. Nose of ample fragrance of currants. minty, vanilla, oaky, sweet note, and some more dark fruits. Taste is mouthful and chewy, quite sweet mixed with some spice, acidity, tart, strawberry, and some more vanilla. Aftertaste shows more strawberry, tangy, and a bit marginal tannin. On par. Like all the Freakshow wine, a bit too sweet for me. — 2 months ago

Great Cali chard for the few and far between. Heavy handed, thick lemon curd, and mild minerality. — 9 days ago

2014 vintage. Decanted and tasted 30 mins and an hour post-decant. Yellow Chartreuse color. Beautiful vanilla/cinnamon Jeffrey pine at dawn nose. That flowed over into the flavors along with substantial mineral components. Showing great. Very enjoyable. 1.12.24. — 3 months ago
in line with the other reviews. An exceptional wine maker, doing everything from planting to pruning to winemaking. Very small production. Opened the bottle about an hour before consuming every last drop. Quite delicious. An exceptional example of Oregon Pinot Noir. — a month ago

Wow! Awesome bottle/wine! Lovely gold color. Butter, minerals, Meyer lemons, camomile, and melons on the nose. Same on the palate with a refined texture and massive depth. Super complex wine that could go toe to toe with high-end White Burgs!! Prime drinking age, sad it’s my last of this vintage.
I thought this started to get overpriced, I am dead wrong!! Worth every penny!! — 25 days ago
