Ok...80 degrees first week of May... Hanging at the MI lake house... sounds like rose time to me. Beautiful full blown dark red rose... no wimpy French limp pink rose here. Real weight, dark notes of Cherry and BlackBerry...plenty of fruit plenty of acidity. Wine has a touch of bitter stem on the long, viscous finish. Great food wine, superb patio sipper, bring on the summer! — 4 years ago

Very good wine. Had it at Rathmullan House overlooking the lake. — 2 years ago
Fascinating pale gold straw color.
A cidery in the nose. Pears, fresh cut cold apple slices, peaches, slight essence of cardamom.
What a refreshing quality of effervescence to add to a tart, mineral, and blade of grass of a wine.
This is just fun, and reinvents this varietal for lovers of Riesling.
Always see the producer around and Simply Wine just added new bottles to their collection, subbing this slot in for Scribe (which is good, known, and kill the branding game, but not always best value).
Plus we got Finger Lakes in the house, which always feels great to support the local-ish wine scene.

Catching up on some delayed bottle posts...no notes.
My great friend/coworker invited me over to his house for a belated celebration of my birthday. We enjoyed this bottle, alongside some delicious, local Indian cuisine, while touring around West Hill Lake in northwest CT in his electric pontoon boat. — 3 years ago

Perfect mix of smoothness and dryness for this golden hour at the lake house. A sweet mineral undertone is just the perfect twist. #vacationland — 5 months ago
