Not a fruit bomb.
Not too heavy and rounded and big.
Certainly some big fruits but balanced with subtlety and very light oak. Dash of leather boy. Splash of dominatrix. Well done if not really in the top 10%. — 19 days ago
The tasting notes from the wine club shipment suggested drinking within 7 years. This was a 2006 vintage that we opened and drank April 30, 2020.
Still in good shape and drinking smooth and enjoyable.
We decanting for 6 hours before drinking with steaks and potatoes. — 2 months ago
Very tasty Chianti. Good fruit. — a month ago
Striking purple candy taste at first. Grape tootsie roll. Purple or purplish red color in the glass. Blackberries more than strawberries.
Way too candied, and not better with dinner either
