Big Table Farm

Willamette Valley Pinot Noir 2017

Reddish in color with light intensity.

Medium bodied with medium plus acidity.

Dry on the palate with nice complexity.

Showing raspberries, sweet strawberries, cherish, earth, light wood, spices, dark chocolates, herbs and black pepper.

This 8 year old Pinot Noir from Oregon is drinking very nicely now. Complex and interesting. Feels like a lightly aged Burgundy.

Good right out of the bottle, and gets earthier as it opens. Will continue to drink nicely in the next few years.

I had a few vintages of this wine and it is very consistent.

Elegant and good by itself or with food.

13.5% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2022

Could be a 9.2 but I had it at a steakhouse and the Cali Cab - Filet combo makes all’s those wines taste better. Even without the 2+2=5 taste combo was still smooth, darkly fruited, and great. — 2 months ago

The Derivative Sonoma County Sémillon Blend 2013

Might be a smidgen past its prime. However, still drank pretty decently. This may be my first wine to include the grape Palomino. I always thought it was a horse. Carlisle known for its Zins primarily put together a really interesting blend. Glad I tried it. — 6 days ago

Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2023

Medium ruby color with a lighter rim. Aromas of red berries, violets, wet gravel and pine resin. The pallet is full of red cherry and blueberry fruit with additional notes of baking spices, black tea and dried herbs. Crisp acidity, plush and medium bodied. A bit of grippy tannin. Always very consistent. — 18 days ago

Earthquake Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon 2021

Dark berry fruit in the nose, soft and fruit forward on the palate - approachable and food friendly but not overly tannic. Excellent! — 22 days ago

Napa Valley Chardonnay 2023

Medium lemon color with aromas of tropical and stone fruit with citrus and toasty oak notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and peach, lemon zest, vanilla oak and wet stone notes. Nice balance with tangy acidity on long creamy finish ending with fruit, oak and rich nutty mineral character. Classic, very nice! Needs a little cellaring. — a month ago
