My late dad’s favorite and the vintage he was drinking just before he passed. Perfection. — 8 days ago
Love it. Had it at the Rusty Pelican in Miami trying to match seafood and steak. Dark fruit flavors of plum and cherries. Oak/vanilla hints. Well balanced wine with a long finish. — a month ago
Blend of 75% Cabernet Franc, 11% Petite Verdot, 6% Cabernet Sauvignon and 2% Petite Sirah, deep Ruby red color, purple edges, with aromas of black fruits, baking spice and cedar notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, currants and ripe black cherry with pepper, oak, cacao and floral notes. Fine savory tannins, medium+ finish ending with fruit, oak and spice. — 2 months ago

So drinkable but has some depth and keeps you interested. Lemon peel, cantaloupe. Winner — 3 months ago
Drinking the 2018 in 2026. Dark thick long lasting legs. Nose has dark fruit and cherry notes, slightly sweet. Light flavor for a cab. Very smooth with a fruity finish. Nice wine. — 5 months ago
2015 vintage. Sampled from Coravin. Medium body. The monstrous tannins tamed somewhat...as they meet a decade+. Absolutely, top-notch nose. If you both respect the exuberance of youth and celebrate the wisdom of age, this is for you. A fascinating, case study currently. 6.24.26. — 3 days ago
Post dinner party notes. Third bottle I’ve had of this and by far the best yet. Amazing. Such a complex nose, with roasted herbal notes, dark spicy fruit, earthy mineral iodine notes Tannins just about completely resolved. Length and depth for days. Wow. — 2 months ago
My review may not be beneficial to all because of my drinking style. I drink the bottle myself over the course of a week. With this Freakshow Cab Sauv, my review changed from the first to last glass. The first glass was strong, thin, and barely enjoyable. With subsequent glasses tasted a developing sweetness and thickness. I realize this is counter intuitive to wines normally being best when being allowed to breathe a bit after opening. Just wasn’t the case for me with this one. Rating was a 6.5 to start and a 9.5 at the end I’m grading with a curve to give it an overall 9. Will buy again based on Freakshow reputation and hope for a better early result. — 3 months ago
I’m late to writing this having worked my way through half a case since 2019, but the wine was outstanding throughout and still seemed to have a lot of life in Jan ‘26. Deep, dark, sweet fruit, edges may have rounded over time but maintains a gentle acidity and earthy finish. Raspberry, tart cherry, plummy finish, a depth that few other WH North Slopes have. Wish I had more. — 5 months ago
This is a full bodied wine providing intense, concentrated flavors of blueberries, raspberries, violets, and cassis, with an underlying layer of dried herbs. It has quite high tannins that provide a chalky mouthfeel, but it’s balanced nicely by med/high acidity. On the finish, notes of earthy bitter chocolate accompany the fruit and violets, and the tannins provide just a slightly drying mouthfeel. I think this wine would go well with something robust like ribeye, lamb, or smoked ribs/brisket. I had it with sausage and mushroom pizza, and after the first glass it became a bit too much. — 16 days ago
When I’m not drinking a Napa Cab, and I’m having a fillet mignon, I reach for a Jordon. Blend of 87% Cab Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 2% Petit Verdot & 1% Malbec, aged 13 months in 100% French oak (35% new). Deep Ruby red color with aromas of red fruit, floral and an array of herb spices. On the palate flavors of blackberry and raspberry with oak, vanilla spice, leather and cacao notes. Rich fine tannins, well balanced and integrated with fruit and oak. Very Nice! Will age well. Just had this at a chophouse, Nice! — a month ago
2nd vintage from the Kronos vineyard
Decant and pour(lots of sediment). A medium tawny red color. On the nose: very expressive port like sweet notes with dried cherry, stewed meat, eucalyptus, cedar, herbs. Taste: silky, still fresh for its age, amazing acid wine with sour cherry, loamy soil, licorice and a peppery espresso medium plus finish. YUM! Sure, on the downside, but holds it own tonight. — 2 months ago

I would absolutely buy this one again! Especially at the $20-$25 price point.
Delicious blueberry and rhubarb pie on the nose. Silky tannins with low acidity, and a long vanilla finish with mild oak. Well balanced and very enjoyable. — 2 months ago
As others reviewers have said, this wine is consistently outstanding. It pours a deep purple. Wonderful flavors of berries and dried fruit. Balanced tannins and an exquisite finish. As with the other wine for my birthday, it may have overpowered my seafood pasta at Mangia Bene restaurant a little bit. But it was worth it because it was so fantastic. Great to celebrate and share this wine with our good friends, the Bailey’s and the Swanson‘s. #stagsleapdistrict #californiawines #napawine #napavalleyforever #redblendwine — 3 months ago

Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of 90min. The 2024 “White Hill” pours a pale straw color with medium viscosity. On the nose, the wine is developing with bright notes of star fruit, passion fruit, stone fruits, lemons, a touch of freshly struck matchstick, some white flowers and minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with medium+ acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and slightly saline. I love the character of these wines. Really tasty stuff.
