Very elegant orange wine from a blend of Malvasia, Ortrugo, Sauvignon Blanc and Moscato. 10-15 days of skin contact in stainless steel. I also used some to cook spaghetti alle vongole, but the subtle acidity wasn’t the best for cooking. Drink it instead! — 18 days ago
Taste of fruit, licorice and vanilla. Full-bodied but easy to drink. Suitable for chips as well as meat dishes. — 5 days ago
Nose has this Nebbiolo brick thing. Hint of cherry flower. Some library dust. Some roses.
Palate is dusty cherry. Rose internal aromatics. Some nice loveliness.
A very nice study in Nebbiolo.
I’d drink this now.
Ah fuck. Maybe mildly corked an hour in. It felt a little off. Sonafabitch it’s corked. God hates us all.

Exuberant nose. Cherries. Chestnut. Gamey. Mega spice. Wild. Untamed. Classic Ghemme. Floral. Can tell it’s from a warm vintage. But in a good way. Warm vintage, cooler region. Palate is juicy and ripe with those rustic, deep Ghemme tannins. Good concentration. Nice depth. Not much finesse so far. But intense flavor and length. Rustic for sure. Not showing as well as last bottle. I’ll be back. — 22 days ago
Got a bottle with dinner from Night + Market. Really liked the funk, color, and mineral. 2019 label is a lot cooler and “arty” looking. — 9 days ago
Interesting medium body, minerally white wine from southern Sicily. Picked up an earthy edge. Went well with shrimp scampi and linguini in peppery garlic sauce. Would have scored it higher wasn’t it for the fact that at the end it went a little flat and wasn’t able to hold or attention or interest. — 8 days ago
