Stunning. Delicious. One of my fav wines of the last 1.5 years. Godello aged under flor that competes with white Burgundy/ Sonoma Coast chards that cost double. Sourced from two tiny plots of 80-100 yr old vines. 80% old foudre, 20% amphora under flor, no malo, no stirring. Sunny bouquet, honeycomb, Asian pear, gun flint, crushed stone, brisk, seamless, cool and classy. $55. — 2 years ago
Nose has lemon zest with some pith, over-ripe pear, quinine, crushed limestone and lemon slice.
Palate has candied lemon, dehydrated lemon, under-ripe nectarine (or any yellow stonefruit), faint orange flesh note on the medium finish, clean.
A great wine to enjoy by a roaring fire in the chiminea this sunny afternoon. — 4 years ago

The bottles won’t absorb the sugar like the Vines at Caymus do,This rosé is everywhere in Switzerland. I think it’s the 4th time I’ve had it. Got this bottle at the train station lol. Very concentrated. Strong acidity, strawberry and orange. Mouth watering finish with a touch of lavender and Provençal herbs. I can see why they like it so much here. Screams European summer (or après-ski on a sunny afternoon). Not fussy, but still elevated. — 9 months ago

This Gamay looks like a Cabernet Franc as it is so tightly wrapped in a fruity coat. But at taste the suppleness of the fabric immediately betrays it and tells you straightforwardly about Gamay, the better to invite you to even more festivities. A little sunny summer jewel in the heart of a winter.. Happy, fresh. Easy. Red-fruited with raspberry and strawberry, no noticeable tannin, but a finish. — 5 years ago

2019 vintage. Contribution to the FLB (Friday Lunch Bunch) along with @Pinotman /// Andreas and an appreciative regular. Medium/medium-heavy body. Darker fruit and spices aplenty this effort. Not quite as ripe as other CDLT efforts (maybe a dozen at this point¿?) tasted in the last two years. Far from flashy, this Pinot, unlike you, does its best work in the dark. The quality, effort and experience slowly creeps up and, before you know it, you’re actively planning a getaway weekend with it. Stealth juice. 3.20.26. — 2 months ago
