Yup. Light and peppery, just like all the other reviews. — 4 years ago

Difficult to separate the wine from the meal (skillet bone-in ribeye, with everything), but comes across as fruity, lush, but a little one-dimensional. Very much in the direction of what I like, but was hoping for a bit more than just berry and soil. Recall liking before. Reviews indicate that it might have lost a little acid and tannin. Still, good. — 4 years ago
Will need another try, but promising. — 4 years ago

Unexpectedly good: a bit of acidity, some must, Overall inoffensive, yet not uninteresting. — 4 years ago
"Wine Spectator 90" ... really? First bottle with pizza (a la Julia Child "cooking with wine"). Probably should have been a second bottle, but no complaints so far. Needs direction. — 4 years ago
Smelled light to medium, tart cherry ... so took a sip, expecting the same. Nope. Purple fruit is there, but there's a thwak at the back that initially seemed chalky, but oxidized into tannin, mushroom, and a little funk. Probably got into it too quickly. Back in ... — 4 years ago

Losing a little nuance with a fra diavolo and no waiting to breathe ... Medium-bodied, rounded, and fruit-forward. Some forest floor hints. Slightly sharp late, but finishes clean enough. Overall needs more time or slightly lower price, but deserves another chance. — 3 years ago
