golden yellow , copper tinge . Quite open exuberant nose , orange rind , honeysuckle, saffron , ginger , marmalade . Intense marmalade , orange peel on the palate , quite rich and intense but well balanced by high acidity. Long balanced , zesty intense finish . Drinking well now and over the next 5-8 years . — 24 days ago
2013. Eleven years under a screw cap and it tastes very fresh with dark berry fruit and no visible signs of age. From the other reviews, I think the oak has probably mellowed a bit and I really enjoyed it with a meaty patty melt. — 22 days ago
2023 - Now owned by LMH the style has somewhat reverted to the herbaceous style of the 90s that made it famous, so pleasant surprise- citrus, melon, lime, and grasses- like it
One of the earlier ratings is 10 and several 7.2, so overall rating is skewed to lower side

After opening up for just a few minutes- the initial lighter juiciness turns dark and smoky. Blackberries tempered by fig, carob, chestnut. Tannins are dry and bold. The acidity, which was barely noticeable with the first sips - builds over time and dominates the final finishing notes. — a month ago
Just everything you want in a big, fat Australian Shiraz. Big, bright fruit - cherries, cranberries, raspberries - jumps out at first, but later you enjoy some darker, stewed fruit flavors - plum and even tomatoes. Super long finish. Drinking this 2017 in December 2024 and it is perfectly balanced. Just the right amount of tannins and acid to balance the immense fruit bomb. Just great. — a month ago
One of the faves for Shiraz. Big, bold, yet easy to drink. Punchy with black and red fruits, not to tannic. — 10 days ago
Goede geur, prikkelt een beetje, frisse en luchtige wijn, goede nasmaak die wat blijft hangen — 9 days ago
