Earth, blackberry, blackcurrant, anise, nice acidity, mellow tannins. Fair amount of funk but manageable. Interesting overall — 6 years ago
40% Chardonnay, 30% Pinot Noir from Montagne de Reims and Grande Vallee de la Marne, 30% Pinot Meunier from Grande Vallee de la Marne and southern slopes of Epernay. Stainless steel, 36 months on lees. Pale salmon. Subtle and elegant nose of bright citrus, ripe raspberry and strawberry juice. Bread dough, clove, and mushroom. Bright acidity with a medium plus finish. — 7 years ago
Lovely rich white wine. Tropical fruit mix brings out that Summer feeling. Very refreshing. Apricot and peach to start, citrus in the middle, passion fruit and acid to finish. — 21 days ago

These Hebrart champagnes are criminally underrated. Light gold with a nice burst of tiny bubbles. Creamy and effervescent. The nose is evocative and immediately appealing. Chamomile and chalk. Deep summer fruits and apples along with peaches and cream. Toasted bread and almonds after some time in the glass.
Honestly all of these releases from Champagne Hebrart are spectacular. From Premier Cru plots in the Vallee de la Marne. 80/20 PN/CH and disgorged in may of 2020 with a dosage of 8 g/l. Pleasant acidity and silky smooth. There’s an underlying elegance with the entire range of champagnes and this is no exception.
Graceful and lithe on the tongue, there’s plenty to love here. Generous orchard fruit and a dab of honey. More than a hint of spice here along with more chalk and salinity. Lemon curd and apricots accompany the medium long finish. Magnificent wine from one of my favorite producers. — 5 years ago
Light yellow golden color and white stone fruits with hints of oil and salinity carrying through to acidic biting palate with lively if not elegant texture and good length. Surprised to see on back label as 100% Chardonnay which in retrospect makes sense. Excellent. Checked list, was GL 2010 13.6 value, only two bottles with one gone to Maria/Ali so no more! Also two of same from Haute Vallee instead of Oceanique which hopefully still in stash. Made exactly the same way but from district vineyard terroir. Too bad can’t make direct comparison. — 6 years ago

2025 vintage. Excellent! Less mineral-y and acidic than NZ SBs. — a month ago
Popped and poured; enjoyed over the course of an hour. The NV Grand Vallée Extra Brut pours a straw color with a faint bronze tinge and persistent mousse. On the nose, the wine is developing with notes of fresh raspberries, strawberry, peach, lemon and limestone minerals. On the palate, the wine is dry with high acid. Confirming the notes from the nose. The finish is medium+ and packed with minerals. Quite lovely. Drink now. Disgorged Spring of 2023. — 2 months ago
high acid, limited oak makes this a great food wine. great cool climate wine with a vineyard 1.5 miles from the Pacific — 5 years ago
