Seigneur De La Tour

Château Tour Saint-Christophe

Saint-Émilion Red Bordeaux Blend 2017

Raspberry and black cherry, bit of spice, leather. On drier side, with nice acidity and balanced tannins. Great for price and with steak frites. — 11 days ago

Château La Tour Carnet

Haut-Médoc Red Bordeaux Blend 2004

9.3

I bought this bottle several years ago for $35. A huge splurge for a beginner. Been meaning to open it and I figured it would be a flop. Cork was in fantastic shape. Decanted and wow. Fruit is still there. Maybe some cinnamon and very faint cedar notes and some dry earth. Really hasn’t lost any color. Always fun to come across a forgotten wine in the cellar. — a month ago

Margaux Red Bordeaux Blend 2019

Nice left bank. Could do with a bit more structure. But very pleasant to drink, jumps right out of the bottle. — a month ago

Seigneur de Maugiron Côte-Rôtie Syrah 2015

Fantastic. Pure, focussed, vibrant. Layers of fresh dark red fruit carried by smooth tannins slight hints of pepper. Addictive. Beautiful roasted raw, medium/raw prime rib propelled this wine to outer orbit. Boy, life can be good!! — a month ago
