This Single Vineyard Grenache from Walla Walla Valley is very stinky and austere on the nose.
Complex and very interesting, but not what I expected at all. Feels more like an old world wine.

I had a recent vintage a couple of years ago and it showed much better. Might just be this particular bottle, or it could be past its prime by now.
A good quality wine and still very drinkable.

Clear, deep ruby in color; on the nose, it's clean with pronounced primary and secondary aromas of cassis, blackberries, ans cedar; on the palate, it's dry with high acidity, medium tannins, high alcohol, full body, and pronounced primary and secondary flavors of black cherries, black currants, eucalyptus, and wet gravel with a medium finish. This wine is balanced and complex. Overall, I rate this wine as very good. Nellie didn't like it. — 13 days ago
