Buttery aromas and flavors up front, lemon, sea salt, just amazing cut, acidity and depth, super long, lingering finish, yet still very youthful overall, this is why we all buy Raveneau Chablis (Les Clos being the pinnacle), well, for me, “used to buy” (LOL)!! The anticipation and patience displayed holding this for 10 years was amply rewarded. Clear, brick-ish color, tight nose that eventually opened to loads of red fruit, Burgundy like in its combination of lushness and reserve. Subtle and layered even after all these years. — 2 months ago

Everything a good Pinot Noir should be. There are subtle fruit notes but still a medium body wine that hold up well. Note the alcohol content is 13%, which for a Cal wine seems low. Kudos to the winemaker for making such an impressive wine without bumping up the alcohol content. FYI, the 2021 was a Costco close out in the San Diego area. — 3 months ago
