Mineral, salt, citrus, crisp. — 2 years ago
always love txakolina. this one is super minerally, heavy dose of salt and brine, good bite of lime, and some pear to round it out. this is a really enjoyable, crisp bottle but is one touch too austere (dry + salty) for me. one extra bit of roundness and acid (if that makes any sense) to cut against the salt and this is a total home run but still very enjoyable. — 7 years ago

Great wine for a fun birthday — 6 years ago
Wednesday Wine Committee hosted by Dan. 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds and 1 dessert wine. Tasted blind as usual.
I guessed the producer was Marcassin. At the end of the day, Marcassin is just so distinct when compared to other Cali chards, and it’s always magnificent (for my taste). Smoked lemon, grilled marshmallows, sea salt, popcorn kernel and almost sulfuric. Impeccable. — 7 years ago
Drinking in 2024. Exceptional balance with a nice nose of blackberry and salt. Spice, full but fine tannins on the palate. Moderate length finish that is a bit confused. Let it open up for least 30 mins. — 2 years ago
Crisp, touch of salt. Really nice. — 2 years ago
Lemon oil, salt, acid, funky. Long finish. — 5 years ago
Great aromatics. Sea salt, white pepper, bing cherry, raspberries. — 6 years ago
Touch of salt, apple and light baking spice on the nose. Mix of green apple and pickled fruit on the palate, with a medium finish. More tart and vinegar than your typical albarino. 2018 vintage. — 7 years ago
Wow - best wine to pass my lips with a CA appellation in some time. Way more Tavel than Pinot Noir rosé. Rich and textured. Tangerine, white peach, celery salt, rhubarb, cotton candy and just a hint of that bubblegum that PN rosés always seem to have. — 7 years ago

Great white blend. Nice blend of tart and dry, finishes very clean. Would be better in Summer — 5 months ago
