Prob most balanced wine I’ve had in a while. Odd to lead with that but what popped into my head. Purpley and plummy fruit. Long finish. Exc. 2020 — 4 months ago

Vieilles Vignes Chablis Chardonnay 2022

Really a lovely Chablis from a producer I haven’t had before. Great intensity, minerality, some white fruit notes, and a long acid driven finish. — 6 months ago

Subtle notes of stone fruits, but somewhat dominated by phenols. This subsided with air, but influenced my experience. Palate was lean and clean with nice salinity. Acid was soft, but balanced. I did anticipate better from this producer. — 10 months ago

Saint-Pierre Chablis Chardonnay 2022

Bright lemon color with aromas of citrus, stone fruits and nutty flinty floral notes. On the palate flavors of apple, pear and citrus with floral notes and herb spice. Medium+ finish, vivid acidity ending with citrus and stony mineral spice. Nice!

Les Preuses Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay 2016

Flinty and crisp on the nose nose and palate. A nice and typically French personality with lemon rind and copious amounts of salinity. Nice weight and texture with more brine than sweetness. Drinking well right now, but will sail on for another 7-10 years, with ease. — 8 months ago
