Mouthwatering acidity, apple and mineral taste, distinctive feel. Interesting comparison to maconnais white - noticed its cooler terrior but otherwise similar. First wines of Wine Club with Steve Calum Lauro. — 4 years ago
Quality depth, plenty of spice, great red — 6 years ago

Interesting blend of Pignola and Sauv Blanc. Bruised apples, almond skin finish. Soft and quaffable. Grazie @George Tita — 7 years ago
Port-esque. Garnet color, rich rounded nose of dried stone fruit. Very low “mouth drying” tannic quality. — 8 years ago
2008 vintage.
15 years old and still holding a deep ruby colour.
Very perfumed nose with black flowers, tar, licorice and vanillin.
Plum, porcini mushroom, dark cherry and sweet spice.
A silky texture and the tannins are still very astringent but caressing.
This wine spent 22 months in medium toast French oak.
I made mushroom and leek risotto with black truffles for dinner with this wine.
I was lucky to meet Giorgio Rivetti in 2004 at a Somm tasting that opened my eyes to La Spinetta wines….whether in Piedmont or Tuscany. — 3 years ago
Rivertti Massimo Viarivetti22 Rosato Langhe DOC 2020: Light. Bright. Balanced. Youthful flavors of strawberry, watermelon, cranberry & rhubarb. Short dry, yet refreshing finish. All in all, a beautifully-crafted, 100% Pinot Noir rosé from Piemonte and a perfect pairing for poolsides and summer days! Cheers🍷 — 5 years ago

Nose- rose petals, leather and turf. I get some annisette, cherry, and earth on the palate. Tannins are moderate. This could age a bit more. I was surprised it was a little thin. Enjoyed with pasta and a rich guancale/ sausage tomato sauce. — 5 months ago
