100% Pinot Noir sourced from Domaine de la Cote and La Rinconada vineyard in Santa Rita Hills. Aged for 6 months in neutral oak and 4 months in tank. Delicate nose with red fruit and spicy notes (cinnamon). Medium-bodied, elegant, good acidity. Drank it too quickly — 25 days ago
The anticipation and patience displayed holding this for 10 years was amply rewarded. Clear, brick-ish color, tight nose that eventually opened to loads of red fruit, Burgundy like in its combination of lushness and reserve. Subtle and layered even after all these years. — 9 days ago

A lovely wine. Raspberries, black cherries, and plums. I slightly prefer the 2016, but this is still an excellent wine. — 3 days ago
In line with the relic. Slightly purple tongue. Fruity, but not overpowering. — 19 days ago

Opened and decanted an hour before tasting. Cedar, toasty oak, brown spices, damp earth, pinches of milk chocolate, coffee and pruney fruit. Still fairly tannic too. Does this wine have sufficient fruit and freshness for the long haul…?
Now, its good, not great.
