Santa Cruz Mountains Cabernet Sauvignon 2015

2015 vintage. Light-medium/medium body. Elegant with just the right mix of primary and secondary characteristics currently. Some earthy tones, some pretty tones. Picked up 3 cases for an affordable ($35 a btl) domestic Cab with a decade of age on it. 2013 effort (not reviewed) had a slightly, off-putting, prunish note on the finish that wouldn’t leave the party so passed on it and went with this instead. 3.11.26. — 9 days ago

Falcale Cannonau di Sardegna

Cannonau is Synonym for Grenache and Garnacha. But this one is quite elegant. Of course raspberry and cherry rich, sweet and slightly sour. Piero Manicini Falcale Cannonau di Saldigna @1300/G, Tamay, 250704 — 9 months ago

Sonoma Coast Chardonnay 2024

Pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits, citrus, vanilla and nutty scents. On the palate flavors of apple, pineapple and lemon citrus, cinnamon notes, ok balanced with acidity. Medium finish ending with nutty spice, fruit, mineral and citrus notes. — 4 months ago

2023, 30 min in with a medium rare steak: great addition. Fine balance matching the subtle tenderness of the meat. Enjoying it. — 9 months ago
