Zinny says: I wish more Zin growers would make this old old old school style. 12.9%. Ripe, red berries, subtle forest floor note, spice. So versatile with food. Such pure berry and lightly minerally flavors. Long elegant finish. Did I say 12.9%? It's 12.9%.

Black pepper spice and rich organic earth compliment the reds and light blacks. The lighter style is this wine is unexpected when considering the usual state of zinfandels. Along with the high acidity, this is more of an old world style. Better with food, light and a little complex.

This is what Zinfandel should be. Ripe red fruits balanced by a delicious savory core. 12.9% ABV and every bit as pronounced on the palate as its 16% cousins.

Amazing with a beautifully grilled ribeye. Thanks Ben! Easy drinkin’ with a light electric tingle. Delicious.

I’m not a zin drinker by any stretch of the imagination, but took the advice of @ADAM STROMFELD and gave this a shot. The nose is all Smuckers strawberry jam. The palate is juicy bramble berry fruit along with some fruit compote, cedar, and herbs. Light and lively, not your typical heavy zin. Very tasty.

I've been blinded a few times on zin lately and they've thrown me off because I'm expecting high alcohol zin versus all this sub 13.5 zin. This is old school, juicy light peppery a lot of red cherried fruit and red florals. 12.9%. It's hard for me to say whether I like the big fat zin or the primitivo-esque style more. Believe these are from his own clones as well.

Perfumed fresh red fruits - crushed raspberry, kumquat, rose petal. Jam is there but not jammy. Showcase in restraint and my favorite type of zin.
