A great Chardonnay, a perfect anytime in the summer wine — 5 months ago
These are recalled impressions, not contemporaneous notes, from two nights ago, when the family council of elders met for a steak/wine pairing event at my brother Angelo’s house.
Everyone loved this one. Deep and complex. Like a great Pessac with its notes of deep gravel and cigar box. — 12 days ago
Red fruit, cream and raspberry. Very smooth and balanced. Paired with chartreuse. — 4 months ago
Beautiful nose of Kirsch; loaded with sweet, dark fruit — cherry herring stands out — and minerality with mild acidity. Not as deep and complex as some vintages, lacking the garrigue and pepper elements. Still, a very good Syrah. — a month ago

Sipping Fine Wine
Pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits and blossom and spice, fruit from the Martinelli Charles Ranch, two miles in from the Pacific, aged for 12 months in 25% new oak. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with a touch of zesty lemon, crisp, with nitty vanilla notes. Nice mouthfeel, vivid acidity, medium+ finish ending with fruit, vanilla and citrus mineral character. Nice! — 15 hours ago
