Honestly, really enjoyed this within the red lineup we tasted. Its drinking nicely now, with some medium dark colors of garnet. Plum, blueberry, chocolate, potpourri, and a little spice. Medium+ body with rigid tannins. Might not age for long. — 5 months ago
I’ll take one pool full of this, please. — 2 months ago
Fruit exclusively from the Martinelli Charles Ranch, two miles in from the Pacific, aged for 12 months in 25% new oak. Pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruits and blossom and spice. On the palate flavors of apple and pear with a touch of zesty lemon, crisp, with nitty vanilla notes. Nice mouthfeel, long finish, vivid acidity. — 3 months ago
This one is a showstopper. Complex and big. Heavy but with grace. Some really nice cab sauv components (88%) but you definitely get the petit Verdot (12%) too. Cassis, plum, blackberry fruits lead out but with some smoked cigar and tobacco leaf that is undeniable. Graphite and menthol. Its balanced perfectly with firm tannins and large acidity. Persists for a while. Gotta end the night with this one. — 5 months ago

A lot going on. Red fruit and tannic. Mineral. Maybe it’s just me, but Napa and Sonoma vintage 18 wines (a great vintage) are throwing lots of tannins, across the board. A great wine that needs 4-6yr to resolve itself. — 2 days ago
