[8-hour decant] Ripe, rich, very youthful still, with a noticeable tannic backbone, but also shows a sweet palate (think Graham’s/Fonseca, though the Symington family owns Graham’s, Dow’s, Warre’s and Cockburn’s, among others??), this should easily evolve/improve another 10-20 years, very long finish, outstanding vintage Porto, super long finish!! — 2 months ago
Black a new blend produced from classic varieties that do not make it into the Quinta do Noval vintage. Deep Ruby red color with pronounced aromas of berry fruits, spice and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blackberry, spice, leather and smoke. Long finish, full bodied, smooth tannins, ending with fruit, cacao and tobacco notes. Nice. — a month ago

On the nose : Cocoa/mocha, ground ginger, menthol/resin. Milk chocolate, raisin on the palate. A bit of a chocolate dessert in a glass. — 4 months ago
Although wine may have been past its prime, it lacked a distinct aroma. It was well-balanced with relatively low tannic notes. — a month ago
Opened for my 80th birthday. Following the delicious dinner and wines, we needed a bottle of port with the cake and other sweets. Mature but so fresh for its age, this port did not disappoint, it was yummy. And by the end of the evening, no wine and no port leftovers, ha, ha. — 2 months ago

Mature and rather delicate with notes of prosciutto and iron. Probably better for a light charcuterie board then easy sipping in a Lisbon AirBnB. Old school Bairrada producer. — 4 days ago
