Had it with Tony. Zero complaints. Pretty damn perfect — 5 years ago
Excellent. All in balance and plenty of distinct berry earthy autumnal notes fading in and out to keep it interesting through dinner at Amah. Gordon’s import 2005 now Becky Washerman or Grand Cru Selections. — 5 years ago
Medium ruby; medium plus intensity aromas of red cherry, red currant, red plum, tarragon, potpourri, earth, mushroom, underbrush, allspice; dry, high acid, medium alcohol, medium body, medium plus intensity flavors consistent with aromas; medium plus finish, well balanced, quite complex and concentrated flavors, very good — 6 years ago

2020 Prunier-Bonheur Monthelie Red Burgundy — 2 years ago
Medium Ruby with complex aromas of ripe red fruits, floral spice and cedar notes. On the palate layered flavors of ripe cherry, plum and blackerry with notes of cacao, vanilla, spice and oak. Fine drying tannins, still tight, long savory finish, ending with fruit, sweet spice and slight earthy mineral notes. Very nice! — 4 years ago
Translucent garnet color. Primary aromas of tangy red berries. Typical wooded Burgundy farming, and undergrowth notes, humus. The tannins are finely integrated. Light to medium-bodied wine supported by a balancing freshness. Good quality, but it remains expensive for what it is compared to neighboring regions: Sancerres, Coteaux champenois for example.
Robe grenat translucide. — 4 years ago
Delicious. Smooth. Got this from premier. — 5 years ago
Great harmony for current release, minerality, acidity and fruit all together without too much “baby fat”. Enjoyable even when it was served too warm. — 7 years ago
Compared to 2001; leafier, mintier, greener. Prunier, figgier, meatier. Soy sauce, mushroom, forest floor, bacon fat (could be just less Brett than 2001), pencil shavings. — 3 years ago

Another super earthy version but not as silky or dynamic as others. Rotting leaves and singed bay leaf on the nose with a ganache accent that provides some intrigue. The mouthfeel is a little thin on this one. A good wine but not in the upper tier of my Burgundian adventure. — 5 years ago
