Beautiful. All so balanced. Deep but sleek fruit. Great acid balance. A real pleasure

Tasting of 1999 2nd growths. Brick red color with orange rim. Cedar, some brettanomyces, and a bit of oxidation that quickly blows off. Softer than the others, with leather and Madeira flavors and anise in the finish.

Still very young and rigid. Tannin is elevated and leather and cedar aromas dominate. Drinking well but will be better in another 10 years.
