C'est délicieux!! It’s been two years since I last had a glass of wine. It was amazing to do the long break and I would highly recommend it to everyone. However, I did miss the odd glass of Primitivo with creamy pasta, Chardonnay with hot chips and a glass of red Bordeaux with a hearty meal by the fire with winter lashing outside. Last night I opened a 2014 Chateau Kirwan from Margaux, Bordeaux. It was simply superb. A harmoniously smooth blend with grippy tannins, well-judged acidity and deft use of oak. A precise bit of winemaking. — 5 months ago
