Stina Pošip 2020

2020 vintage.
The blend is Posip, Vuguva and a bit of Chardonnay from Dalmatia, Croatia.
Brilliant, shiny, green and gold.
Herbal, citrus and guava on the nose.
Figs, green apple and unripe Bosc pears.
Round mouth feel with medium acidity on the finish.
This is definitely a food wine.
I would grill whole Branzino or octopus.
Chicken roasted with Dijon mustard, garlic, lemon and parsley would shine with this wine.

Full bodied, touch of oak. Retains great minerality, despite the likely new oak treatment. Stone fruit/apples. Long finish. — 6 months ago

Special Pošip 2021

Barley, brine, lemon. Medium bodied- fleshy. Maybe the lobster on the label is suggestive, but this wine would be fantastic with seafood. — 2 years ago

Bilo Idro Plavac Mali 2023

Amazing blend of indigenous varietals (Bogdanuša, Pošip, Maraština, Prč, Trebbiano Toscana), a truly mineral white (the white version is the marina cuvée) with an accented salinity which makes a perfect oyster companion and a great pairing with shell fish. Super crispy and crazy delicate and fresh. — 4 months ago

Vrhunsko Bijelo Pošip 2021

Flavorful and unique wine. Similar to Friulano with a larger number of flavors and surprisingly complex. Starts out with dried apricot, then molasses, and ends with mild lemon similar to a Sauvignon Blanc. Great Summer wine. Good with mozzarella and tomatoes. — a year ago
