The traditional family dinner for Xmas with a wine tasting - I always wanted to taste the 25 and 26 side by side :). The 25 is a wonderful rendition that keeps delivering on the promise of LPGS. Crisp and balanced. — 6 months ago
Pale to medium salmon color with aromas of berry fruits, yeasty and nutty earthy notes. On the palate flavors of fresh cherry and raspberry, nice mousse, rapid bubbles, adding citrus & toasty apple flavors, crisp & refreshing, long ending with creamy lemon, smoke & yeasty earthy mineral notes. Nice! — 8 months ago
An absolute pleasure to drink. Everything that defines champagne. — 2 years ago
Beautiful bottle. It’s a blend of 55% Chardonnay and 45% Pinot Noir from 11 Grand Cru vineyards. 100% Grand Cru Vineyards; Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Cramant, Ambonnay & Bouzy The assemblage is from 2004, 2006, and 2007 and aged at least a decade.
Lots of citrus blend, green apple, some pineapple, gritty chalk, nice volcanics, brioche, cream, vanilla, caramel, spring flowers, crisp acidity and beautiful finish. — 2 months ago
I was unaware of this cuvée. This is only the 10th time it’s been released since its inauguration in 1982. Lots going on. Upon pouring, the bubbles disappeared quickly. A powerful nose of strawberry, cherries and florals yet I do not feel this was fully open.
In the mouth citrus like acidity. Builds in the mouth but in a restrained way. Very vinous. Creamy texture with layers of red fruit, toast and spice vacationing in your mouth. Deceptively elegant texture . — 4 months ago
Grassy, slight buttered risotto on the nose. Honeyed with a nice dry herbaceous finish. Great on its own or with food. — 5 months ago
Amazing how champagne can age. This non vintage was easily 40 years old and still in great shape. Too much dosage for me but definitely a conversation piece — 8 months ago
Old gold , orange rind colour , quite a lot of bubbles still . Quite mature nose with roasted walnuts , some herbal , porcini , coffee tinged notes , hints of red currant . On the palate this also shows quite a bit of age with roasted nuts , some lightly herbal notes , honey , balanced acidity . A little short and simple on the finish , hints of orange rind and dried rose . This needs to be drunk over the next few years , don’t see this improving . — 9 months ago

Bright straw yellow. Inviting nose of stony dried apple and citrus rind. Lean (with a touch of the rich) palate echoes the apple but leaves behind the citrus, replacing it with toasted fine white bread. Finish is moderately long and continues the palate. Excellent starter, but with enough heft for a main meal of seafood, pork, or poultry. Drink when you buy it. — 3 months ago
No notes taken after a large final day at the Australian Grand Prix in Casa Ferrari. I thought the matching glasses to the painted bottle a very classy touch. Pale salmon in colour. A lovely refreshing drink with notes of wild strawberry and a creamy sweetness to the palate. The mousse is not fine but it remains a delicious Rose Champagne. — 3 months ago
Very rich texture, deep vanilla cream notes, hints of green apple at the finish — 5 months ago
