Etna Rosso. Nose: cherry, plum. Taste: cherry, raspberry. Very acidic red but still relatively light. Very good wine one of my favorites. — 25 days ago
My favorite Nerellos: Contrada from Passopiscario. This is is a heavier Nerello with red and black fruit. Smokey, earthy, burnt earth, med tannins, good acidity. — 2 months ago

Set out to try a Sicilian wine for the first time (that I can remember) at my favorite restaurant in NYC and it did not dissapoint! Notes of cherry, red fruit, and smoke. Surprisingly mineral finish for a red, incredibly dry! Fantastic! — 16 days ago
