Passopisciaro Sicilia Nerello Mascalese 2022

Set out to try a Sicilian wine for the first time (that I can remember) at my favorite restaurant in NYC and it did not dissapoint! Notes of cherry, red fruit, and smoke. Surprisingly mineral finish for a red, incredibly dry! Fantastic! — 16 days ago

Scinniri Terre Siciliane Red Blend 2020

Mostly Nerello Mascalese smoke, shoe polish, earth and black fruit . Had it with a sausage- based dish, and it really hit. Gift from my daughter katy. I’ll look for more. — a month ago
