Drinking and Collecting since 1980...many fond memories forged in the company of good food, great wines and better friends!
14 drinking near peak of mature brightness and silky tannins - really balanced front to back...I really love Melville! I think it’s the most underrated winery in the US likely! Really expressive and nice pure fruit! — 6 days ago
95 I remember touted then forgotten but this always happens...evolving, ripe in some notes but young backbone...like people! You never know how will be! — a month ago
Why we drink wine! Expression of Sarah in the place where it is best...and a vintage that allows us to look back at this great development as an act of nature! Simply memorable...can never forget! 1978 not 1918 😳 — 18 days ago
Gents, Ladies...this is great example of bottle variance. Shitty label belie a neck fill and evenly moist cork from a Durand. Sweet lush core from the beginning and tight structure throughout (not a lot of swirling) and drank phenomenally for 1.5 hours. Hugely unusual for a heavily Cab based St Estephe...fabulous! Why I love wine! Read my past reviews! Crazy — a month ago

Quintessential Burg! If you can’t tell this Burg...stop drinking. Just elegant, still vibrant and pure Red Burg! — 3 months ago
