Surprisingly old school nose for an 09,
Cork was great,
14.7 abv, but couldn’t tell by the nose.
Reminds of an old Heitz or Ridge .
My first Barrett, needs an hour or 2 to come around, got a 2010 Mag, now I know not to open for awhile.

Still young, and still awesome. Pure red fruits with an great balance and elegance. Fantastic.
