A more leaner rendition of this varietal, but in a good way. Nose displays clean cinnamon and toast. Palate is broad and expansive, yet light on its feet. A kiss of vanilla pod and black fruits conclude an excellent presentation. This is an intellectual wine.

Extremely impressive showing from this Barolo - fully integrated and clearly at peak plateau of drinking (likely to continue drinking well for another handful of years but wouldn’t wait) - this was very masculine in style presenting a full bodied palate but the tannins were soft and silky. Meaty, truffle, tobacco with dark dark fruits - certainly worth buying — 3 months ago
