On the southern edge of the rocky Bay of Biscay in northern Spain, this is Basque country and home to a slightly effervescent white wine, Txakoli. Pale lemon color with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with a light spritz in the glass. On the palate flavors of green apple and lemon citrus, vivid briny acidity with floral notes. Medium+ finish ending with fruit and spicy mineral character. — 2 months ago

Medium ruby in color; plums, bell peppers, and paprika on the nose; medium acidity; medium plus tannins; tastes like raspberries, jalapeño, and wet slate with a long finish. It's a really interesting flavor. It's not for everyone, but well made. I like it. — a month ago
Funky! Vegetal, cassis?, perhaps some licorice. Red fruit and vegetal - fun! — 2 months ago
Effervescent. Honey. Like a bubbly Riesling. CRAZY! This may be the best value I’ve ever found! — 2 months ago

Very light, watery yellow. Lemon-lime aroma. Zippy crisp acidity. Structured. Tasting of a tart lemon bar with a mineral secondary note. This wine loves simple, light food - tapas, mushroom, shellfish. — 20 days ago
