Unique amber color veering toward orange. Aromas of black and white tea, dried orchard fruit, white cranberry, earth, musk, and dried flowers. Complex. Very interesting. Reminds me more of an aged Pinot Noir than a white wine. — a month ago
The same Tempier game - deep, textbook, best at cellar temp for nuanced aromas and weighted viscosity.
2018 is losing its fruit, at the end of the window where hints and dried versions of fresh fruit and spices still hang around.
Dried orange peel, grapefruit, peach, and soft red melon and furry raspberry.

Medium/Pale lemon color with aromas of stone fruit, floral, spice and citrus. On the palate apple, melon and peach flavors, with lemon zest, vanilla and toasty cedar notes. Nice balance with bright acidity on long creamy finish, savory with spicy rich oaky mineral ending, very nice! — 12 days ago
Medium copper salmon colour , with wide slightly yellow tinged rim . Toasty notes , with some dried herbs , orange rind , candle wax , toasted almonds , sea breeze, in some ways quite similar to the white reserva. On the palate this is quite intense and grippy again , with a nutty , spiced orange rind , dried red fruit . Good balanced acidity , good volume and decent length . This is ready and drinking well now but will probably last well over the next 5 -8 years, though I don’t see it improving — 14 days ago
Lovely cab, smooth taste and velvet texture. Boysenberry, dark cherry, tobacco leather tones with nice finish — 3 months ago
Nose: tropical fruit, pear, pineapple, sweet acetone
Taste: slightly sweet to start, dryer on the finish, mild acidity, green apple bubblegum that’s been left in my car, pear, Granny Smith aftertaste coupled with lingering tannin qualities. — 20 days ago
The nose shows candied orange peel, lemon peel, apricot, honey. The palate is showing a great acid drive, superb matter on the side, even a tiny thickness on the sides, some orange and orange peel notes, a big bright apricot note, some honey and then tannins in the rear that leave a gentle drying layer over a long orange peel, apricot, honeyed finish that goes on for ever. There is a tiny bitter note that blossoms in the very end. Complexity, texture, fruit, matter. This packs it all. The initial barnyardy notes blew off after a short while. This is again great stuff ! — 2 months ago

This really leans into the darker aspect of Cab. Dark cassis, loads of dark crushed stone, baker’s chocolate, dark iodiney savory notes. Intense in the mouth, but with surprisingly nice acids for its 14.9 frame. Rich, but bone dry. Still tannic, but it’s soft. — 5 days ago
