In the hottest summer since forever, Enderle & Moll Spat rose is the solution to my Texas problem. This works for when I want red and red doesn't want to work. It's the heart and soul of German Spat with the ability to quench thirst. A cool dip off Liason, with more texture and thicker concentration.
It doesn't look like Rose'. It looks like 20 year old Barolo - crimson with browned edges. Awesome cherry laden notes. Fresh bing - dark to stain your fingers. And candied cherry too - like Ludens cough drops. And mint and menthol. And that texture - this is 13.5% ABV, but not syrupy the way Bandol rose's can be.
It's own exceptional thing. Drink at cellar temp. — 2 years ago
Delicious. Smooth red that would pair with almost anything or perfect to drink on its own. — 3 months ago
The Vinloq System was designed for still wines only. However, we love sparkling wines too.
👃Very expressive nose with nice interplay between the predominant minerality and the brioche, strawberries, marzipan, and florals
👅A rich and assertive profile with plenty of acidity and crisp bubbles that deliver energy and joy. It is both assertive and pretty. Just the right amount of sweetness keeps the fruit fresh and delicious. Long finish. Great with food or easily has enough verve to drink on it's own.
Drinking well. Excellent value for a rose from a major Champagne house🥂🥂

Although I find that La Closerie generally needs some bottle age to fill out and come into its own, LC19 is already showing fabulously flaunting deep, powerful layers of ripe orchard fruit with smoky minerals, toasted hazelnuts and exotic spices. The palate is impeccably structured and concentrated with a satiny texture and vibrant energy that gives way to a long mineral inflicted finish. Pinot Meunier from the master, it just can’t be matched. This is the best release since LC13. — 2 years ago
An amazing Cabernet. — 8 months ago
In a night of many firsts, this was my first time trying Clos des Mouches which is a remarkable monopole that was assembled by Drouhin back in the early part of last century. Famously, Beaune has no Grand Cru vineyards but if there was every going to be one, Clos des Mouches would probably be the vineyard. And if this 2019 is an indicator of the standard of quality, it’s no wonder why.
This was gorgeous; a wine of pedigree. It seemed to have layers of depth and concentration that certainly gave off GC vibes. The purity of the fruit is sublime and the acid is brilliant, combining to create a wine of impeccable balance. Many, including myself, tend to poopoo large producer/négociants but it’s really unfair to make blanket judgements, particularly when you consider that they often own or control some of Burgundy’s most important sites. It is clear that great care goes into this wine. It’s special. Drink now and over the next 15+ years.
A wow wine and divinely paired with diver scallops prepared with huitlacoche, mole, lion’s mane mushrooms, crispy potato and tamatillo salsa. — 9 months ago

Vibrant developed red fruit with big tannins on the finish. Tobacco and leather across the entire palate. Cowboy’s saddle - giddy up! — 3 months ago
